Ayahuasca

A deeply transforming process for body and emotional wholeness and consciousness.

What is Ayahuasca?

Ayahuasca is a vegetable tea drink originating from the Amazon region. It is one of the oldest known healing methods for various deep-rooted emotional pains, blockages, traumatic experiences and multi-generational problems. The first citation of the use of this transforming beverage goes back 5,000 years. Shamans state that Ayahuasca has the potential to help you (re) find essence, and that this process is transforming for body, emotional wholeness and your consciousness.

Who is Ayahuasca suitable for?

An Ayahuasca ceremony is best suited for people who have already gone through the necessary personal development. People who are willing to face both their own light and shadow sides. Experience with bodywork, meditation, mindfulness or other techniques. And therefore having experience with focusing attention on the inner processes for a long time. This is almost a condition to really benefit from the Ayahuasca experience. The following are also important for the outcome of the experience:

  • The correct preparation, expectation, intention, motivation, state of mind and setting in which Ayahuasca is drunk.

  • Proper guidance, ritual & music.

  • Have faith in your own process.

  • Focusing on physical sensations.

  • The surrender and willingness to let go of your thinking concepts.

  • A compassionate attitude to yourself.

  • Need for an in-depth experience with the potential for transformation.

Individual or in a group?

It’s About Love offers plant medicine retreats and ceremonies abroad, for both individual and group basis. I do this in collaboration with the experienced ayahuasca counselors, who in addition to experience with entheogenic ceremonies have a professional background in therapeutic or coaching setting. We are able to offer not only professional but also loving support during your inner journey.

Begin preparation for the ceremony

Did you know that the right nutrition in the preparation phase for the medicine plant ceremony can support your body very well during your journey and is very important for detoxification?

A few more small tips

Read how you can do the best for the ceremony

In the last three days before the ceremony, try to eat only green vegetables, raw, stir-fried or steamed. Green vegetables contain chlorophyll, a substance that supplies the sun energy and has strong detoxifying properties. Green vegetables absorb heavy metals, clean the digestive tract and refine the energetic vibration of your body. In this way you will be able to travel deeper and softer in your plant medicine ceremony.

Effects of Ayahuasca

The effects of the drink can be very intense, both physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Users often experience energetic cleansing and work through and resolve traumatic experiences. People also often get to know their own place in the world.

The Ayahuasca ceremony is a shamanic initiation into other states of consciousness, with the emphasis on safely exploring one's own potential, healing trauma, and recovering one's own essence.

Setting and safety

Within the ceremonial and professional therapeutic setting you learn to do healing work deep in your own body on physical and emotional layers, in contrast to so-called tripping from your body. Creating safety and supporting you during your inner journey is number one for expert guidance.

Agenda and individual sessions

It’s About Love offers plant medicine ceremonies abroad, on both individual and group basis as a day ceremony or as a psychedelic retreat supported by process work.
